The plan was to meet Roger (aka Messi) for a long run but I was feeling rough in the morning and had to blow him out. Spent the morning reading with the boys before their games in the arvo. Jack won 2-0 with the Bromley and Lucas played his first Bromley game scoring and winning 4-2.
Spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing at home packing bags for yet another trip with my folks also stopping by whilst the boys were out and about causing chaos in the neighbourhood (better outside than inside).
Was feeling perkier ahead of dinner so decided on a whim to do a short jog. Started the first k at 4.25 and felt surprisingly good so upped to run mostly 3.50s feeling almost normal all the way round. Ended up with 9.5kms at 3.57s (not too shabby*).
