Day 5 - Brooklyn / High Line

A lot cooler today but opted against the run in favour of a family breakfast (or rather I got told to ditch).

Substituted the run with lots of walking - reckon we have been walking 15-20ks every day.

Breakfast - back at Baz which was not as good as a few days back.

Mid morning - picked up the downtown bus loop on the corner of Broadway and Spring to Battery Park for a quick walk followed by the Brooklyn bus loop. The highlight being the red brick town houses which I always associate with Spile Lee movies, namely Do the Right Thing.

Mid afternoon we took the subway up to 23rd street in Chelsea to pick up the High Line route walking initially north and then coming back on ourselves all the way to the southern finish in the Meatpackers. It's impressive and a popular film setting.

Lukie not feeling well today and I also feeling a little lousy which meant I was grouchy.

Evening - walk around the neighbouring China town finishing with ice cream at Ferrara in Little Italy.

Funny moment of the day whilst all of us falling to sleep: Jack's role play of a Mauri dad telling his son how we met his mother at MacDs. Really hope he does something with this.....
