City running

Got out at lunch for 40 minutes or so running the new bike lanes westwards to Big Ben before turning to the south side and turning back eastwards to Tower Bridge. Crossed the river before taking the relatively new river path that takes you back to Blackfriars. Exactly 10k in 4.25s.

Air pollution was not too bad today. The right knee is sore and seems to be worst when walking up stairs. The first step onto Tower Bridge was quite painful.

Cannot wait for the coming long weekend.

This made me laugh at Timmy's expense - the closest a Stoke player will get to the England squad :)

And then finally the sad news that one of the mainstays of the Sydney HuRT Squad is leaving to pastures new. Mikey Conway is a legend in the Sydney running community. I will definitely look him up in his new home. Now pleased that we were able to have the run together when I was there in September last year.
