Tried to run in the morning but was just too tired again. Started the 10 minutes rule and extended to 30 but that was it. Absolutely knackered with all the running catching up with me and it was mighty hot. The left glute worryingly is playing up again and feels like how it did before the 6 weeks of imposed running rest.
Coffee with j at pool before we took Ryder with us to Biarritz. J's final holiday wish and some shopping which ended up being costly in handbag currency.
A nice day before getting back to campsite to round up the 3 elder boys and drive the 4 hours north to Poitier. I had meticulously planned when to avoid the hellish Bordeaux traffic and worked out only being held up by 20 minutes or so around 7.30 on a Friday night. Was also helped by the fact that the French school holidays finished on 1 Sep which meant there was less traffic on the road.
