Boys

With the 4 boys there are always new dynamics and challenges:

1. Tommy is really enjoying secondary school. He has become independent overnight and has really embraced his new life. He gets picked up by 5 mates every morning who live higher up the road and then they walk the 5 mins together to school. He also fluked his starting exams which means he is in the top set and has been given all the these extracurricular activities at weekends. This is one of the offsetting bonuses of living in London, really good free education.

2. Jack. The poor lad missed 1.5 years of Primary school the way the years went when we came over. Basically he jumped from half way through year 3 to starting year 5 in the space of a couple of months.

3. Lucas has become obsessed with cleaning, go figure? Aside from that he has loads of mates and is loving his footie for school and club.

4. Ryder still does not enjoy his school. The school is Catholic and was the only one with a space left. At dinner time he often tells the story of his daily worship whilst rolling his eyes at the same time. Highly amusing.

No running today. Feeling lousy and under the cosh at work. The weather is also miserable and befitting of my mood.

On the rucksack front still no news. I called South Eastern again this morning and lo and behold my loss had not been logged, FFS. It seems that after 10 phone calls they still cannot log the damn thing. It's not looking good and the legs are beginning to creak.
