Hendaye beach & Strawberry Daiquiris

Today we ventured to the Spanish border to the surf beach at Hendaye. A nice place which sort of reminded us of back home in Manly with the long promenade and surf shops along the front.

The weather was pouring when we arrived but we braced the conditions as the boys threw on their wet suits. The three older boys headed out and I stayed in the white water pushing Ryder on wave after wave which he enjoyed enormously.

The highlight of the day was playing back all of the Gopro pix - in the morning we had fastened it to Jack's board and there were some classics. Later in the afternoon the boys also took a load more selfie videos going down the water slides as a 4. A lot of fun.

Dors and Rose arrived today with their boys and we drank a gazillion strawberry daiquiris to celebrate thanks to Jacqueline and her 'food robot' (aka the Thermomix) as the boys roamed the campsite no doubt getting up to all sorts of mischief.

Re running, I managed a 15km plod in the late afternoon (4.40s). Uneventful.
